Hello student this is piyush kumar your iit jee teacher, this class is conduct for all those students who preparing for iit jee exam.here is one hit-hard moment during my JEE preparation.
This dates back to the good old pre COVID days, when I was in class 11th.
My chemistry teacher had finished teaching Coordination Compounds a week or two back.
And as usual, I had solved the PYQs of JEE that corresponding week, I still remember a question that I got stuck with, it had four compounds given as choices and they asked to select the compound that was colourless.
I also had the solution to that qquestion, but the solution seemed to be a bit illogical for me, so I explained all that to my teacher, and this is what he told:
Agar mai abhi chahu toh tereko toh solution dekh ke samjha ke tere samne Tees-Maar-Khan ban sakta hu par jab tu exam dega tab sirf tu hoga aur tere samne IIT ka professor ka set kiya hua question hoga, or yeh tu jo ratta maar ke jayega usse kuch fayda nhi hone wala
And trust me, this hit me really hard. This was one of the quotes that changed my perspective of JEE
Crux :
1) JEE is not about attempting 100% questions
2) Mindless memorisation won’t help, memorise only when you have understood the concept
3) Studying well and scoring well in JEE are two different things
4) Paper attempting is like an art, one needs time to master it
