- Pronunciation: Speak clearly, and don’t worry about your accent as long as you're understandable.

For IELTS Speaking, the test is divided into three parts:
Part 1: Introduction & Interview (4-5 minutes)
In this part, the examiner will ask general questions about you, such as:
- Your home, family, work, or studies.
- Your interests, hobbies, or daily activities.
Example questions:
- Do you work or study?
- What do you like to do in your free time?
- Can you describe your hometown?
Tips:
- Speak naturally and confidently.
- Avoid giving very short answers like "yes" or "no."
- Try to elaborate and provide examples where possible.

Part 2: Long Turn (3-4 minutes)
You will be given a task card with a topic. You’ll have 1 minute to prepare your response and then speak for 1-2 minutes on the topic.
Example topic:
- Describe a person who has influenced you.
You should say:
- Who the person is.
- How you know them.
- Why they have influenced you.
- And explain how they’ve had an impact on your life.
Tips:
- Use the 1 minute of preparation wisely by noting key points.
- Try to structure your talk with an introduction, main points, and conclusion.
- Speak until the examiner stops you.

Part 3: Discussion (4-5 minutes)
This part involves a two-way discussion. The examiner will ask further questions related to the topic in Part 2, but these questions will be more abstract and opinion-based.
Example questions (based on the previous topic):
- Do you think people today are more influenced by family members or by celebrities?
- How important is it to have a role model in life?
- What qualities should a person have to positively influence others?
Tips:
- Offer opinions and support them with reasons.
- It’s okay to give complex answers and show different perspectives.
