"I registered to my class with Karthikeyan when i had just a week left for my IELTS. I had done some self preparation for a week before that, but I was very low on confidence. Also, I did not find any good mock tests online. With so much content on youtube and internet about IELTS preparation, it was overwhelming. My exam was on Sunday, and i started my classes on Monday. Both Karthikeyan and me had very less time , however he proved to be the best tutor for IELTS. He came up with a quick plan, had back to back sessions with me, identified my weakness and did a lot of guided practice. I secured an overall score of Band 8 with my highest score of band 8.5 in speaking for which i was most scared of. The knowledge he imparts is really good and the way he guided me and always encouraged me helped me get this good score. "

"I was enrolled in an academy training centre before reaching Mr.Karthikeyan. So I could defenetly compare and explain the difference in the coaching and how different Mr.Karthikeyan was to me. In the academy training it was just a practise session followed by correction by the tutor. This approach will not help the student in scoring high band. Besides , it will not assist you when a different types of questions are given in the exam. On the other hand, Mr. Karthikeyan first explained me the strategies and the way to approach each section to score high band. He also helped me to focus on the key areas where I need to improve.Now and then he evaluated me in every aspect of ielts. This obviously helped me to bolster my confidence Whoever is attempting ielts , I agree focus and practise is required to achieve your score . But the key to success and to score high band is to know how to strategically approach the exam and manage the time . To achieve that level I would definitely refer Mr.Karthikeyan. He is really a best mentor for me Thank you sir"

"Sir, please teach me with your knowledge and experience, I have already watched hundreds of videos on YouTube still I was not able to get things clearly that's why I decided to hire a tutor and you are also repeating same things what I have done. Initially, I had a feeling of being upset or annoyed as a result of being unable to change the way I use to speak English, in fact I was lacking confidence to further with. Gradually I realised that the way you were progressing with your teaching I realised the fact that you were not only teaching me to understand, but also mentoring me by providing me with patterns of native English speakers to attain the desired output and had helped me change the way I word English. Secondly, when you started with Listening section, I was lacking attention and found it difficult to mark my answers. I remember that I could secure only B6 in my first test. Later, you taught me strategies to overcome barriers to listening and I gradually started improving as it was reflecting on my band score during the practice tests. This was possible only because of your mentoring abilities. In addition, reading section was really frustrating as I found it to be hard to understand the main idea of paragraph and in reading you helped me understand the various question specific strategies such as rapid reading, and information mapping which I found more useful to get answers swiftly.Finally, it was about teaching and mentoring me on academic writing task 1, and writing task 2.
