Home Science-11

This class is for students studying in Class 11, NIOS Board. In this course, students will learn about Home Science subjects like Food Science, Environment, Health, Communicable & Lifestyle Diseases, Textiles, Housing, Resource Management, Human Development, Ethics in Daily Life and Consumer Rights. Home Science is a scoring subject and very useful and practical. It can be applied in our daily life to improve our quality of living. I will explain the concepts using relevant examples in order to help students understand the concepts well. Chapter-wise explanation and tests will be conducted, followed by discussion and mock exam for sample question papers and previous years question papers to help students gain confidence to face exams. I will provide notes and worksheets for each chapter. This will help them to be thorough with concepts and help them to face application-based questions. Apart from exams, Home Science subject will be discussed in a way to encourage students to apply it in their daily life to enhance quality of living.
