This Hematology crash course is specially designed for BMLT, DMLT, MMLT, and paramedical students who want to build strong practical and exam-oriented understanding of hematology in a short time. The course focuses on concepts that are most important for practical exams, viva, semester exams, and lab technician competitive exams.
In this class, students will learn the basics and practical aspects of Hematology, including blood sample collection, anticoagulants, hematology analyzers, complete blood count (CBC), hemoglobin estimation, ESR, PCV, peripheral blood smear basics, and identification of normal and abnormal blood cells. Emphasis will be given to normal values, common abnormalities, report interpretation, and viva questions.
The teaching approach is simple, step-by-step, and practical-based, using real laboratory examples so that students can easily understand how tests are performed in actual labs. Common mistakes made during practical exams and sample handling will also be discussed.
Classes will be conducted online via Google Meet using screen sharing, making it easy for students to follow diagrams, notes, and explanations even from mobile. Notes and guidance will be provided. This course helps students gain clarity, confidence, and strong fundamentals in Hematology.
