This handwriting class is designed for children from preschool to upper primary who want to write neatly, confidently, and comfortably. It is especially helpful for students who struggle with letter formation, spacing, alignment, slow writing, or poor pencil control. The class is also suitable for beginners who are learning to write for the first time and for children who need extra academic support.
In this class, students will learn correct pencil grip, proper sitting posture, and smooth hand movement. They will practise capital and small letters, joining strokes, words, and simple sentences. Special attention is given to spacing, size consistency, line awareness, and writing speed. Activities are structured step by step so every child improves at a comfortable pace. With Sowmya’s fifteen years of teaching experience and training in special education, each child receives individual guidance and encouragement.
Students should bring a notebook, pencils, eraser, and crayons. Worksheets are provided.
