Learning anatomy requires a strong foundation which is laid by a clear understanding of general anatomy and histology. All the chapters are covered in detail with emphasis on the topics important for examination.
The course starts with a description of anatomical terminologies and a brief outline on the colour codes to be used in the anatomical diagrams. Covers the histology of epithelial and glandular tissue, connective tissue, gross anatomy and histology of skin and its appendages, Gross anatomy of skeletal system with histology of bone and cartilage, Joints, vertebral column, Muscular system with associated histology, Introduction to cardiovascular system with associated histology, the anatomy and histology of lymphatic system, nervous system anatomy and histology.
An assessment will be conducted at the end of the course duration to assess the subject grasp of the students.
The session will be a two way communication rather than a one way lecture where students can interact and clear their doubts as and when required.
