This computer course is designed for school and college students, as well as beginners of any age, who want to build a strong foundation in basic computer skills and gradually move towards simple programming. It is ideal for learners who are new to computers, feel less confident using them, or want to improve their practical skills for studies, office work or future technical courses.
In this class, students will learn essential topics such as understanding computer components, operating systems basics (Windows), file and folder management, typing and formatting documents in MS Word, creating spreadsheets and simple calculations in MS Excel, and making presentations in MS PowerPoint. We also cover safe internet usage, email, online forms, and basic security awareness. For interested students, we introduce simple programming concepts (logic, variables, conditions and loops) using an easy language so they can prepare for further studies like BCA/MCA or Java.
Students should bring a notebook and, if possible, access to a computer or laptop; if they don’t have one, we adjust with guided practice during the session. The aim of this course is to make learners comfortable with everyday computer tasks, improve their digital confidence, and give them a clear base for more advanced IT or programming courses.
