Through this course Fun with words : Improve your vocabulary while playing Kahoot! (Age 5-9 years) , students will systematically improve their vocabulary while also developing comfort with English language and overall critical thinking abilities, and all of that while having a lot of fun!

We will focus on eight vocabulary words from the National Reading Vocabulary lists for students in primary school in the age group of 5-9 years. Each class will start with learning new words along with their grammatical concepts. Students will also learn the proper use of the words in their right context. Each class will include some practice time, where we will use a game of Kahoot, to test their understanding of the words learnt. Every week, students would have assignments to learn some related words and their use. This would not only help in reinforcing the learnings in class, but also improve their overall stock of words.

What will be covered

Learning new words (5-8 per week)
Usage of words in sentences, different meanings and contexts
Knowledge of synonyms, antonyms and related words
Understanding Pre-fixes and suffixes ; compound words, categories, homophones, multi-meaning words, contexts
