This Free Violin Workshop, conducted by Vijith V T, is designed as an engaging and inspiring introduction to the world of Carnatic classical violin. It is ideal for complete beginners who are curious about learning the violin, as well as for parents looking to explore music opportunities for their children.

In this interactive session, students will get a hands-on understanding of the violin’s structure, posture, and basic fingering and bowing techniques. The session also introduces the fundamental concepts of shruti (pitch) and laya (rhythm), which are the pillars of Indian classical music.
