What will this Course teach?
My base form is contemporary and Indian creative dance(Uday Shankar technique). Along with that, I also teach Afro-contemporary, Other western and Freestyle dance forms. It starts with basic understanding of movement concepts that can be translated by the learner into many styles. It will be a multi-faceted class starting with a rigorous warm-up session encouraging body-conditioning, engaging body movements, and building up stamina. Preparing students with basic steps jumps and balancing acts. Each session will consist of a 1-minute song choreography.
What are the prerequisites for this Course?
A well-lit & spacious room.
Smartphone (Or) Desktop (Or) Laptop with a good internet connection.
How will this Course benefit the student?
Everyone will be in a position where their body lines, postures and movements base will be built. Body flexibility, expressions, dancing capabilities will be imbibed in each student. Dance helps develop socially, emotionally and cognitively; it also improves your muscle tone, strength, endurance and fitness. Dancing can be a way to stay fit for people of all ages, shapes and sizes.
