In this class I shall be covering the topic FRACTIONS in simple terms.

This class is oriented for Class 6 .

The students will learn the types of fractions, comparisons, audition, subtraction, multiple and division on fractions. 

Brush up about fractions in classes 4 and 5.

Fraction is significant for grouping. It is a number representation part of a whole. The part of a whole can be equal or different in quantity. Fraction can be represented on the number line.  There are 3 types of fractions: Proper-numerator is less than denominator, improper- Numerator is greater than denominator, Mixed fractions.

Fractions with same denominator are called like fractions.

Two fractions are unlike if they have different denominators. 

Adding and subtracting the fractions with different denominators is not easy. 

A fraction is said to be in the simplest form of its Numerator and denominator have no common factor except 1. Each  proper or improper fraction has many equivalent fractions.
