Syllabus:
This course focuses on understanding, implementing, and applying fundamental data structures using Python. Topics include algorithm analysis, time and space complexity, arrays and lists, linked lists, doubly linked lists, stacks, queues, recursion, searching algorithms, sorting algorithms, trees, tree traversals, and hashing. Students will learn how different data structures operate, their advantages and limitations, and how to select suitable structures for different problems. Practical implementation and coding exercises are an essential part of the course.
Who is this course for?
This course is designed for college students, aspiring software developers, computer science learners, and anyone who wants to improve their programming logic. It is also suitable for students preparing for coding assessments, technical interviews, or further studies in computer science.
Prerequisites:
Students should have a basic understanding of Python, including variables, conditional statements, loops, functions, and lists. Familiarity with basic programming concepts will help students progress comfortably.
Learning Outcome:
Students will gain a better understanding of data structures, implement fundamental structures in Python, analyse algorithm efficiency, and develop systematic problem-solving skills.
