Sorting Data:
- Sorting in Ascending/Descending Order: Excel allows you to sort data in a range or table based on one or multiple columns. You can sort data in ascending (smallest to largest) or descending (largest to smallest) order. To do this, select the data range and go to the Data tab, then click on the "Sort" button.

Filtering Data:
- Applying Filters: Excel's filtering feature enables you to display specific data based on certain criteria. By applying filters, you can quickly narrow down the data to show only the relevant information. To apply filters, select the data range and go to the Data tab, then click on the "Filter" button.
- Custom Filtering: Excel provides advanced filtering options where you can specify complex criteria using logical operators (e.g., equals, greater than, less than, etc.) to filter data based on specific conditions.

Basic Data Manipulation Techniques:
- Copy and Paste: Excel allows you to copy data from one location and paste it to another. You can copy a single cell, a range of cells, or even entire columns or rows. Use the Ctrl+C shortcut to copy, and Ctrl+V to paste the data.
- Fill Series: Excel provides the Fill Series feature to quickly fill a range of cells with a specific pattern or series. For example, you can autofill a series of numbers, dates, or even custom sequences. Select the starting cell, drag the fill handle (a small square at the bottom-right corner), and release it to fill the desired range.
- Find and Replace: Excel's Find and Replace feature allows you to search for specific data within a range and replace it with different content. This feature helps in quickly modifying data or correcting mistakes in a large dataset.
