This course teaches students how to create their own comics from idea to finished page. Learners explore character design, facial expressions, poses, and stylized drawing suited for storytelling. Students understand comic panels, speech bubbles, sound effects, and visual flow. Story basics such as beginning–middle–end and simple scripting are included. The focus is on visual storytelling—how drawings communicate action and emotion. Students practice short comic strips and gradually create multi-panel pages. Creativity and imagination are encouraged while maintaining clear structure. By the end, each student produces original comic pages with characters and story. The course builds storytelling, drawing, and communication skills useful in illustration, animation, and publishing.
Students learn anime face proportions, expressive eyes, stylized hair, and character features. Both boy and girl character styles are practiced along with emotions such as happy, angry, and surprised. The course covers chibi and standard anime body types with simple poses.
