This Class 6 Mathematics programme is designed for students who want to build strong mathematical foundations through understanding rather than rote learning. It is suitable for students following the CBSE curriculum who need structured support with their school Mathematics, concept development, problem-solving and regular practice.
The classes are conducted in a small group of up to 4 students. This format allows students to learn collaboratively while still receiving focused guidance from the mentor. Lessons are built around conceptual explanations, worked examples, guided problem-solving, questioning and practice. Students are encouraged to explain their reasoning and understand why a particular method works instead of simply memorising steps.
The programme follows the student's school curriculum and can include homework support, revision and preparation for school assessments. A practice test is provided after each session to reinforce learning. Students also receive revision notes and regular academic feedback. Parents receive a Monthly Academic Progress Report covering the student's learning and progress.
Students do not need any special equipment apart from their regular Mathematics notebook, textbook and stationery. A willingness to participate, ask questions and attempt problems independently is encouraged. No advanced prerequisite is required, although basic familiarity with Class 5 Mathematics will be helpful.
