About the Class:

This course is designed to build a strong foundation in Physics and Mathematics for Grade 9 students, while also preparing them for the academic rigor of Grade 10 board examinations. The focus will be on completing the CBSE Grade 9 syllabus in all three subjects, with equal emphasis on inquiry-driven learning, conceptual clarity, and critical thinking.

A key component of the course will be developing scientific writing skills—helping students learn how to present their answers clearly, logically, and in accordance with CBSE expectations. This includes learning the correct use of terminology, structured responses, and proper diagram-based explanations in science.

Schedule:

Classes will be held 4 days a week of duration 1 hour each – preferably on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Monday – Physics
Tuesday – Mathematics
Thursday – Physics
Friday - Mathematics

Preferred Time: 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Assessments:

To ensure continuous learning and retention, biweekly tests will be conducted on a rotational basis:

Week 2 – Physics
Week 4 – Mathematics

These assessments will help track progress and provide timely feedback to address learning gaps.

This course is ideal for students who want a balanced approach—one that not only ensures syllabus completion but also focuses on skill development and deeper understanding of core concepts.

I am a graduate in Physics (B.Sc. (H) Physics) from University of Delhi. I also hold a degree in education (B.Ed.).

I am currently working as a Trained Graduate Teacher in a well reputed school in Delhi-NCR region and have 5 + years of formal teaching experience (Classes 6-10).

I am also a CBSE Evaluator for Grade X board examinations and have been for the past 3 years.

Since, physics and math are intertwined, I consider myself to be equally adept at teaching both and hold experience of successfully driving away mathematical anxiety in students with diverse learning needs.

Apart from the experience of school teaching, I also have an experience of teaching PCM at various educational institutions in Delhi to students of grade 8- 10 and physics and math to grade 11 and 12. In total, I hold an experience of 10 years as an educator.

I am CTET qualified and two times Centa-TPO rank holder, for which I received a letter of appreciation from the reliance foundation teacher awards. I also had an opportunity to be trained by the best team of educators and scientists from CERN.

Following are the subjects that I teach:
1. PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Math) - class 8-10
2. Physics - class 11 and 12
3. Engineering drawing- class 11 and 12

Apart from CBSE teaching experience, I also have experience in teaching IGCSE and IB Curriculum. Students following the checkpoint books for science in schools are welcomed too to join my classes.

Methodology:
I promote experiential learning to aid the assimilation of theoretical concepts better. The same shall include lectures, demonstrations, and learning through activities and experiments. Regular assignments and homework are assigned to be done for better retention of concepts.
