Verbal aptitude refers to a person's ability to express themselves, understand and respond to spoken or written information both clearly and precisely.
Verbal aptitude tests are used by many employers to test the skills of their prospective employees and to distinguish between applicants.
These tests assess a person's ability to
- use correct grammar,
- spell words correctly,
- understand word meanings,
- understand word relationships,
- interpret detailed written information.
To do well in the verbal section of Campus Placement tests, it is important to develop the ability to
- recognize common grammatical mistakes,
- understand meaning / meanings and usage of words,
- comprehend and connect ideas to answer questions based on a passage/ text.
In this one hour session we will attempt an overview of the different question types commonly encountered in Campus Placement tests and the best way to approach these to maximise accuracy in the minimum possible time.
This class is open to those aspiring to take up and do well in these Placement tests . Partcipants need to bring scratch aper and pen .
