Business communication is much more than knowing English. It is about knowing what to say, how to say it, how much to say, and how to adapt your communication to the person and situation.
In these sessions, we will work through different aspects of professional communication using practical examples, discussions and exercises.
Topics may include professional and business writing, emails and messages, workplace conversations, meetings, presentations, interviews, client communication, explaining ideas, business storytelling, handling questions, communicating with senior stakeholders and communicating clearly in difficult or high-pressure situations.
Some sessions will focus more on writing, while others may be centred around speaking, presentation, role-play or a specific workplace situation.
The sessions are designed to be standalone, so you can join based on what you want to learn or improve at that point. You don't need to complete one fixed sequence before attending another.
The objective is to help you become clearer, more precise, more natural and more effective in professional communication—whether you're writing an email, speaking in a meeting, presenting an idea or having an important conversation.
