Build a WhatsApp Bot That Talks to You

WhatsApp bots are everywhere – business replies, booking confirmations, even astrology readings (I built one actually). In 2 hours, you'll build your own that talks back.

Hour 1 – Setting Up the Bot:

We'll use Twilio (they give free credits for learning). I'll show you how to:

• Get a WhatsApp sandbox (test environment)

• Write code that receives messages

• Send automatic replies

• Handle basic conversations

We'll build a simple "echo bot" first – you message anything, it repeats back. Then we'll upgrade it: weather bot? Joke bot? Motivational quotes? Your choice.

Hour 2 – Make It Smart + Deploy:

Now we add personality. Use AI to make replies interesting. I'll show you how to connect to Gemini or ChatGPT so your bot actually talks like a human.

Then deploy it so it runs 24/7 on free hosting. Your bot will be alive, responding even when you're sleeping.

Who is this for? Anyone who's texted a business on WhatsApp and wondered how it works. Basic Python helps but I'll make it beginner friendly.
