This class is for Beginners in Music who want to explore their passion for music. 

The students will learn about basics of music overall including basics of Hindustani Classical music as well. The course will cover -

• Playing Sargam ( Sa, Re, Ga, Ma, Pa, Dha, Ni, Sa' ) in Harmonium.
• Definition of Swaras and types of Swars in Hindustani classical music
• Western notation system
• Octaves and Saptak concept
• Vocal range and pitch
• Finding your Sa
• Taal / Rhythm
• Lay/ Tempo

The student can bring a notebook to write down notes for revision later on. Anyone can join this course who is interested in learning vocal music or Hindustani Classical music. The course will help you in enhancing your vocal skills and also improving voice quality. The student can freely ask any doubt related to course. Language of instruction is Hindi. 

This course is a blend of western music and Indian music basics covering the similarities and differences of both.
