With 6 years of experience in teaching Carnatic Vocal music, I bring a unique blend of knowledge and passion to my classes. My academic background includes a Master of Pharmacy and a Diploma in Storytelling, which enhances my teaching approach. Before embarking on my teaching journey, I spent 10 years as a pharmacist in the B Pharma industry, where I developed strong communication and organizational skills that I now apply in my music instruction.

I began teaching in 2018, initially offering offline classes before transitioning to online platforms to reach a wider audience. Over the years, I have dedicated 25 years to mastering Carnatic music, allowing me to share my deep appreciation and understanding of this rich musical tradition with my students. My teaching philosophy emphasizes interactive and practical learning, ensuring that students not only grasp the technical aspects of music but also connect emotionally with their art.

One of my proudest moments as an instructor was when one of my students participated in a Carnatic music competition among 150 participants and achieved an impressive 8th position in Carnatic music, as well as 25th position overall across schools. Such accomplishments inspire me to continue guiding my students on their musical journeys.

My online sessions typically last for 1 hour and are conducted via Google Meet, providing a comfortable and accessible learning environment. I utilize storytelling methods in my teaching, making lessons engaging and relatable, and I often refer to books that enrich the learning experience. This blend of storytelling and music allows my students to explore the emotional depth of Carnatic music while developing their vocal skills.

I strive to create a supportive atmosphere where students feel encouraged to express themselves and explore their musical potential. My goal is to nurture their passion for music and help them develop their unique voices, allowing them to shine in performances and competitions.
