About – Basics of Photography
Photography becomes powerful when you understand its fundamentals. In my photography training, I help students learn the basics in a simple, practical, and engaging way. We begin by understanding how a camera works, including essential concepts such as ISO, aperture, and shutter speed, and how they work together to control exposure and motion. Students also learn composition techniques, camera angles, lighting basics, and ways to capture sharp, well-balanced images in different conditions. Whether using a DSLR, mirrorless camera, or smartphone, I guide learners to confidently use manual and semi-manual modes. My teaching approach focuses on hands-on practice, real-life examples, and easy explanations suitable for complete beginners. By mastering these fundamentals, students gain creative control, clarity, and confidence in their photography skills, enabling them to capture meaningful images and express their visual stories effectively while building strong observation skills, artistic vision, professional discipline, and long-term creative growth through guided practice sessions.
