Basics In Programming ( Language Independent )

This course is for anyone who is having trouble understanding what programming is, and how computer programming works.

We will go over very basic topics like datatypes, loops and other building blocks of a language. 

This course is aimed to remove the fear of programming in Students.

Attend this course if 

1. You're new to computer programming 

2. You don't understand how to write effective code to a given problem 

3. You want to get your basics strong.

Topics that are going to be covered ( Tentatively )

1. What is programming and why it is needed.

2. A sample program to understand the syntax and semantics 

3. Datatypes, expressions and operations 

4. Conditional statements 

5. Iterative statements (loops)

6. Functions ( Declaration, Call and definition)

7. Actual parameters and formal parameters 

8. Continue, break statements 

9. Conditional and unconditional loops. ( While, do while and for loops) 

10. Question and Answers session.
