This class provides a comprehensive foundation for students preparing to become Azure Administrators. It focuses on the essential prerequisites needed before advancing to role-specific training or certification, such as the AZ-104 Microsoft Azure Administrator exam. Throughout the course, learners will develop a solid understanding of fundamental cloud concepts, including virtualization, storage, networking, and security, and how these concepts apply within the Microsoft Azure environment.
Students will be introduced to core Azure services such as compute resources, virtual machines, containers, storage accounts, virtual networks, Azure Active Directory, and resource management tools. The class also covers key skills like configuring identity and access, understanding governance and compliance features, implementing basic network connectivity, and managing Azure subscriptions and resources.
Hands-on practice is a major component of the learning experience. Through labs and guided exercises, learners will experiment with deploying resources, setting up virtual networks, managing identities, and monitoring Azure workloads. This practical exposure helps students build confidence in navigating the Azure portal, using Azure CLI and PowerShell, and understanding how different services integrate to support cloud infrastructure.
By the end of this class, students will have a strong grasp of the fundamental skills required to begin formal Azure Administrator training. They will be able to recognize how Azure services work together, apply basic administrative tasks, and confidently move forward toward professional certification and real-world cloud management.
