This course is designed to help learners build real-world Android applications from the ground up using industry-standard tools and practices. It is suitable for beginners, students, fresh graduates, and working professionals who want to start or strengthen their career in Android app development.
The course begins with the fundamentals of Android development, including Android Studio setup, project structure, activities, fragments, layouts, navigation, and the Android application lifecycle. You will then progress to Kotlin programming, object-oriented concepts, collections, coroutines, and asynchronous programming.
As the course advances, you will learn modern Android development concepts such as MVVM architecture, ViewModel, LiveData/StateFlow, Jetpack components, dependency management, REST API integration using Retrofit, JSON parsing, error handling, local storage, Room Database, and secure data management.
You will also learn practical software-engineering practices including Git and version control, debugging, logging, code structuring, reusable components, exception handling, testing, and application performance optimisation.
The training is strongly project-oriented. Learners will build practical Android applications, integrate backend APIs, handle authentication flows, manage application data, and understand how production Android applications are designed and maintained.
By the end of the course, learners should be able to independently design, develop, debug, test, and prepare Android applications for production while following modern Android development standards and clean coding practices.
