Advanced Beginner batch

Elevate your child’s chess game from "knowing the moves" to "mastering the board." Our Advanced Beginner Batch is specifically designed for young players (ages 6+) who have moved beyond the basics and are ready to transition into strategic thinking. At this stage, children understand how the pieces move and the fundamental rules of the game, but they often struggle with how to coordinate their forces to deliver a decisive blow.

Conducted via interactive Zoom meetings, this course maintains an intimate learning environment with small group classes of only 5–6 students. This ensures that every child receives personalized attention from the instructor while still benefiting from the social dynamic of peer-to-peer competition.

What We Focus On:

• Checkmate Patterns: We move beyond the "ladder mate" to explore more complex patterns like the Back-Rank mate, Smothered mate, and Arabian mate.

• Tactical Vision: Students will learn to spot opportunities for forks, pins, skewers, and discovered attacks—the building blocks of winning chess.

• Board Awareness: Improving the ability to calculate 2–3 moves ahead to avoid "hanging" pieces and recognize opponent threats.
