I have been teaching Mathematics for the past 18 years, specializing in students from Class 9 to Class 12 across various educational boards including CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, and State Boards. My journey as an educator began with a strong foundation in mathematics, and over time, I’ve developed a deep understanding of the challenges students face in the subject. This insight allows me to tailor my teaching methods to suit each learner’s needs and help them build confidence and mastery over mathematical concepts.
I hold a Master’s degree in Mathematics (M.Sc.) as well as an MBA, which has helped me develop not just academic knowledge but also effective communication and management skills that play a vital role in conducting impactful classes. I am currently working as a Mathematics faculty member in a corporate college, where I train high school students while keeping them aligned with both board requirements and competitive exam patterns.
Throughout my teaching career, I’ve interacted with a wide range of students—some struggling with basics, others aiming for perfect scores in board exams or national-level entrance tests. My ability to adapt my teaching methods to match different board syllabi and student levels has consistently yielded positive results. My teaching approach is structured and data-driven. I prepare my lessons in advance, using a lesson plan curated from multiple academic sources and textbooks. This not only helps students cover the syllabus thoroughly but also introduces them to varied problem-solving techniques and interpretations found in different books and boards. I emphasize conceptual clarity and often revisit foundational topics to strengthen the core understanding of my students.
I prefer conducting offline classes, as I believe the classroom environment fosters better engagement and discipline. I use a whiteboard for explanations, which allows for interactive problem-solving, instant correction of doubts, and collaborative learning. The face-to-face interaction also helps me assess a student’s body language and adjust my pace and style accordingly.
Over the years, I have had the opportunity to guide many students toward academic improvement and excellence. I’ve seen students transition from fearing Mathematics to developing a genuine interest in the subject. This transformation is what motivates me every day and reminds me of the responsibility and joy that comes with being an educator.
My goal is not just to help students pass their exams but to develop their logical reasoning and analytical thinking skills, which will serve them far beyond the classroom.
