This 1-hour master class is specially designed for Grade 12 students who want to strengthen their understanding of Pandas, an important Python library included in the Computer Science curriculum. The session focuses on the DataFrame data structure, one of the most frequently tested topics in board examinations.
Students will learn how to create DataFrames, access and manipulate data, perform basic operations, and understand commonly used DataFrame functions. The class will also cover important exam-oriented concepts, syntax, and frequently asked board questions. Through practical examples and guided coding exercises, students will gain clarity on topics that often cause confusion during exam preparation.
By the end of the session, students will have a clear understanding of the use of DataFrames and how to apply them for data handling and analysis. This knowledge will also help them effectively implement DataFrames in their Grade 12 Informatics Practices projects. Additionally, students will gain confidence in solving board examination questions accurately and efficiently through an exam-oriented approach and practical examples.
Students should bring a notebook for notes and a laptop with Python installed to follow along with the demonstrations.
