10th Mathematics Class by Rohit Maurya

He is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Hindustan College of Science and Technology, Mathura. He completed his post-graduation with Honours in Geotechnical and Geo-environmental engineering from Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology (KNIT), Sultanpur in 2016.
Since then he has been engaged in teaching and Research work. He has published over 17 research papers, among which 5 papers in international referred journals with high impact factor. He also published 11 papers in proceedings of national and international conferences with ISSN No. in various areas of specialization. Among these he has been presented 6 papers in national and International conferences and one research poster. He has completed 12 workshops/FDPs/training/s in various NITs/Gov. Institutions/Private Institution on distinct topics like GIS, MATLAB, Disaster management, environmental management, smart cities, human values and professional ethics etc. He has organized various workshops/FDP/events/virtual Activities national and in Hindustan Campus. He has reviewed many research papers and chapters in refereed journals. He has completed and engaged in various in house and outside consultancy works. He has guided various UG projects in the thrust areas of civil engineering. Currently he is engaged in two self-financed research projects as “Geo-reinforcing seismic resistant material” and “Use of Carbon Nano particle mixed bricks”. He has received grants under MODROBs scheme to modernize the departmental labs. He has participated and judged various district level competitions for school students. His area of interest is advanced foundation material, Seismic resistant geo-reinforcement, soil structure interaction, geo-synthetics, and geo-environmental abnormalities. He has developed various technical Modules for Geotechnical and foundation design engineering available online
He has established various labs of civil engineering department along with skill development lab (PMKVY) and civil engineering yard (CEY) for students to explore the field exposure. He has taught over 12 technical subjects of civil engineering/other non-technical subjects and conducted various technical labs. He is familiar with various technical softwares like MATLAB, Geo5, ArcGIS, Geostudio, STAAD Pro, Watercad, Primavera, MSP, Latex etc.
