Sanskrit, being one of the classical languages in India with having significant influences on many other major languages, is widely chosen by students as their second language option. The CBSE Class 10 Sanskrit syllabus for 2025-26 focuses on developing reading, writing, and comprehension skills in Sanskrit. It includes grammar, literature, and composition, with a strong emphasis on understanding and appreciating Sanskrit texts. The syllabus is structured into four sections: Unseen Passage, Writing Skills, Grammar, and Literature. Students can choose between Sanskrit and Sanskrit Communicative options.
