Shomudro Ghosh

My name is Shomudro, and I’m a pianist and music educator based in Noida. I graduated from the Global Music Institute with an Artist Diploma in Contemporary Music Performance, where I majored in piano. Over the past few years, I’ve built a career that blends both live performance and music education.

I’ve been performing live for the past four years, with experience across a variety of venues and festivals. Some of the events I’ve played at include the Tinder x Gaysi: Queer Made Weekend at DLF Promenade, the Pride event at Depot 48, and Daily Object’s Christmas Fest. I’m currently a keyboardist for The Orion’s Belt, a rock and roll band based in Gurgaon, where we fuse classic rock energy with modern influences.

In addition to performing, I’ve been teaching piano for the last 4–5 years, working with students of different ages and skill levels. My teaching approach balances strong technical foundations with creativity and personal expression, encouraging students to find their own voice through music.

Whether on stage or in the classroom, I see music as a powerful tool for connection, expression, and growth — and I strive to keep that spirit at the center of everything I do.
