Riya Malhotra

I teach French to students from Class 4 to Class 10, bringing over 4 years of teaching experience to help young learners develop their language skills. My focus is on creating engaging and effective lessons that build students’ confidence in speaking, reading, and writing French.

I hold a B.A. (Hons.) in English and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree. Additionally, I have completed the B2 level in French, which qualifies me to teach the language proficiently at the school level. My educational qualifications and language training form the foundation for delivering structured and comprehensive lessons.

I have practical experience teaching French to school students, including those preparing for Class 10 exams. Throughout my teaching career, I have helped students improve their grasp of grammar, vocabulary, and communication, leading to notable academic improvements and good exam results.

One of my proudest achievements is earning certification to teach DELF (Diplôme d'Études en Langue Française), an internationally recognized French proficiency certification. This has enabled me to confidently guide students preparing for DELF exams and support their success.

I prefer conducting online classes, which allow me to tailor lessons to individual students or groups flexibly. I follow a well-structured lesson plan that incorporates interactive activities to keep students engaged and motivated.

To make lessons more effective, I use PowerPoint presentations and videos that illustrate language concepts clearly and dynamically. These multimedia tools help students understand and retain the material better.

I also provide detailed notes to complement each lesson, ensuring students have resources to review and practice outside of class. This combination of interactive teaching and supportive materials helps my students achieve their language learning goals.
