I am a Western Music teacher with around 15 years of experience in teaching and training students of different age groups and skill levels. I specialise in Piano and Rock & Pop Vocals, and I also teach Western Music Theory. My goal is to help students develop strong musical foundations while supporting them in building their individual musical abilities and confidence.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Bangalore University, completed in 2003, and a Bachelor of Education from Mumbai University, completed in 2005. I have also completed music-related certifications and training through ABRSM and Trinity, with a focus on Rock & Pop Vocals, Classical Piano, and Western Music Theory. I have completed Grade 8 in Piano from ABRSM and Grade 8 in Rock & Pop Vocals from Trinity.

For the past 15 years, I have been teaching Western Music and have worked with students with different interests, abilities, and levels of experience. I currently teach at a reputed music institute in Delhi, while also conducting online lessons and private classes from my residence. My experience has helped me understand that students have different musical goals, so I believe their learning programmes should be personalised accordingly.

I take an individualised approach to teaching and first try to understand each student's strengths, interests, current level, and goals. Based on this understanding, I structure the learning programme to support their musical growth. I believe students should have a clear foundation in the fundamentals while also having opportunities to explore their own interests and develop their unique musical identity.

A significant part of my teaching experience has involved helping students prepare for graded music examinations. I have guided students in Piano and Rock & Pop Vocals and supported them in preparing confidently for their grade examinations. Seeing students progress through their grades and develop greater confidence in their abilities is one of the most rewarding parts of my teaching journey.

Along with examination preparation, I want students to develop a genuine appreciation and passion for music. I encourage them to understand the fundamentals while also enjoying the creative aspects of singing and playing an instrument. My experience in both Piano and Rock & Pop Vocals allows me to guide students across different areas of Western Music while adapting the learning process to their individual needs.

I conduct classes both online and offline and work towards creating a supportive environment where students can develop their musical skills at their own pace. My goal is to help students achieve their musical aspirations, whether they are preparing for graded examinations, developing their performance abilities, or simply pursuing music as a personal interest. I want every student to build confidence, strengthen their musical foundation, and discover their own unique musical journey.
