Monika

I am Monika, an educator currently teaching all subjects for students from Class 1 to Class 5. I am in the early stage of my school teaching journey and have recently started taking classes outside my core professional background. My focus is on building strong foundational skills in young learners and helping them develop confidence in their studies through simple, structured, and engaging teaching methods.

I hold a Master of Library Science (M.Lib.Sc.) degree and an M.Phil in Library and Information Science. My academic background has helped me develop strong research, organizational, and communication skills, which I effectively apply in my teaching practice. While I do not have formal certification in school teaching methodologies, I continuously work on improving my teaching approach through practical experience and student interaction.

For over 16 years, I have worked as a Librarian in reputed colleges, which has given me extensive exposure to academic environments and student engagement. This experience has strengthened my ability to guide learners, support their academic needs, and understand how students interact with learning material. Working closely with academic resources and learners over the years has naturally developed my interest in teaching younger students.

Although my primary professional experience has been in library services, I am now transitioning into teaching as a full-time focus area. I am confident in handling foundational subjects for students from Class 1 to Class 5, and I am committed to supporting their early learning journey. My aim is to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable and motivated to learn.

My teaching approach is interactive and student-centered. I focus on understanding each child’s learning pace and adapting my methods accordingly. I ensure that every session is structured with clear learning objectives and includes step-by-step explanations to simplify concepts. I also encourage students to actively participate in class discussions to build confidence and improve understanding.

I incorporate examples, discussions, and activity-based learning wherever possible to make lessons more engaging and effective. I believe that young learners understand better when concepts are connected to real-life situations and presented in an enjoyable way. My goal is to ensure that students not only learn but also develop curiosity and interest in their subjects.

I conduct both online and offline classes and use PPT presentations and whiteboards to make lessons visually clear and easy to follow. Through consistent guidance, patience, and personalized attention, I aim to help each student build a strong academic foundation and develop good study habits that will support their future learning.
