A passionate historian and loved teacher, I am an expert in all things related to social science.
I have done my graduation from Delhi University where I got deeply interested in the history of Mughal India. I learnt Persian from Iran Culture House and then went on to do my Master of Arts from Jawaharlal Nehru University in Medieval Indian History. I am currently in the submission stages of my Doctoral Thesis at Shiv Nadar University with pre-submission viva successfully passed.

My research interests include understanding the organisation of the urban cities and the legality associated with the governance and individuals. Over the course of my research, I sifted through numerous archival records present in the Delhi State Archives and National Archives of India, New Delhi. Parsing through multiple archival records and colonial legal documents, I found the patterns of urban habitations and role of governmental policies on the lives of everyday people.
