Kailash Prasad

I am a PhD graduate in Electrical Engineering from IIT Gandhinagar with a strong academic and research background in VLSI, memory design, and in-memory computing. Currently, I work as a Design Engineer, where I design and characterize advanced SRAM memory architectures at cutting-edge semiconductor nodes (2 nm and beyond).

I have more than 8 years of combined academic, research, and professional experience in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), covering subjects such as Digital Electronics, Microprocessors, Embedded Systems, VLSI Design, Semiconductor Devices, and Communication Systems. During my PhD, I published research on next-generation computing hardware, memory assist circuits, and AI accelerators.

I have also mentored undergraduate and postgraduate students in projects on Verilog HDL, RISC-V processor design, communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C), and circuit/system simulations. My teaching style focuses on concept clarity, practical applications, and linking theory with industry practice, making learning engaging and relevant for engineering students.
