I am a father, husband, family man, Corporate Trainer & Associate Vice President at CENTRE FOR
PERSONNEL DEVELOPMENT PVT LTD. Learning is my passion, it breeds simplicity and makes me feel
closer to Universe.
At very young age I realized that we are all connected to each-other and to the planet that is our
home; each one of us is a thread in the fabric, the universe is made of, tiny thread yet necessary.
This realization brought with it a sense of purpose and responsibility towards nearby people.
When people ask me what is your profession, I answer: I am a professional unprofessional. I know
how to learn hence I can make myself a professional in any field; as I have done many things in my
life. When I am asked for the time, I say: the time is now as I find there is no other time, no future,
no past just one eternal now, the only time possible to experience and act upon. As a traveller I am
often asked 'where are you from?' I answer always, I am from here.
I love challenging old paradigms and mess with the proverbs that represent them. For example I had
replace 'knowledge is power' by 'knowledge is ignorance'. I find that what we're taught and accept
as knowledge consist mostly of cultural narratives, belief systems and commercial agendas; even
knowledge that comes of empirical science is often tainted by the ails of these three. So what we call
'knowledge' is what makes us ignorant to see the world for what it is.
It took great effort to undo my own cultural conditioning.
Nothing can be achieved without a desire; without a clear sense of purpose, devotion, courage and
sacrifice. I feel that walking in life without purpose is the most dangerous of all paths.
The pursuit of happiness, yet another old paradigm I reckon is misleading, instead I suggest the
pursuit of happen-ness. To pursue happiness means we're not happy now and that we may be
happy in the future when things will work the way we want, when we will achieve something or get
somewhere. I say be happy now. There is no later, we live at one time; now. Happiness in fact is
found in happen-ness which is the ability to accept, adapt to and find meaning in, whatever is
happening now.
