Dr. Amit Kumar

Hello! I’m Dr. Amit Kumar, and I specialize in teaching Mathematics and Physics for students from grades 9 to 12. With over 15 years of teaching experience, I’ve dedicated my career to helping students build strong conceptual foundations and achieve academic excellence.

I hold a Ph.D. in Pure Mathematics and have been teaching since 2010. During this journey, I’ve mentored countless students, including two who successfully cracked the IIT JEE, a milestone that reflects my commitment to high-quality education and student success.

I am proud to have earned multiple accolades throughout my academic and teaching journey. I’m NET and GATE qualified, received the Young Researcher Award, and was a Gold Medalist in my MSc. I was also selected for the prestigious DST Inspire Fellowship, which has been instrumental in shaping my research and teaching philosophy.

In my classes, I adopt a structured and student-centric approach. I begin by identifying individual learning gaps and tailor lessons accordingly. My teaching combines clear theoretical explanations with practical examples, ensuring that students not only memorize formulas but truly understand and apply concepts.

I conduct offline classes, where I teach using a traditional whiteboard method, which allows for in-depth discussions and real-time problem-solving. I provide comprehensive course materials including notes, solved examples, and curated practice problems. For Physics, I primarily use "Concepts of Physics" by H.C. Verma, a trusted textbook I’ve been teaching from since 2010. In Mathematics, I align resources with the student's curriculum to ensure relevance and rigor.

My mission is to help students master fundamentals, boost their problem-solving abilities, and perform with confidence in competitive exams and board assessments. With the right guidance, I believe every student can unlock their full academic potential.
