The National Eligibility Entrance Test - Undergraduate (NEET UG) has a specific dress code for candidates from Assam, which is generally in line with the dress code for candidates from other states in India. The dress code aims to maintain a uniform and fair examination environment. Here are the guidelines for the NEET UG dress code for candidates from Assam: 1. Light-Colored Clothes: Candidates should wear half sleeves or full sleeves light-colored clothes. This helps maintain a uniform and neat appearance. 2. Shirt: A simple half-sleeved or full-sleeved shirt with buttons is recommended. Avoid clothing with elaborate designs or multiple pockets. 3. Trousers: Opt for light-colored, simple trousers. Jeans and tight-fitting pants are generally discouraged. 4. Footwear: Candidates are allowed to wear slippers or open-toed sandals. Avoid shoes with thick soles or any elaborate design. 5. Prohibited Items: Do not carry any items that are not allowed in the examination hall, such as watches, wallets, belts, and electronic devices. These dress code guidelines aim to ensure a level playing field and prevent any unfair advantages during the examination. Candidates from Assam should refer to the official NEET UG information brochure or the admit card provided by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for any specific dress code requirements or updates. It's important to adhere to these guidelines to maintain fairness and security during the examination. read less
