I am an experienced Chenda artist, teacher and traditional percussion trainer with over 30 years of experience in Kerala’s classical and folk percussion traditions. I have trained more than 10,000 students and conducted numerous performances and cultural programmes.

Through Gurukripa Chenda Kalari, I provide structured training in Chenda, Chenda Melam, Pancharimelam and other traditional percussion practices for beginners, intermediate and advanced learners. I conduct both online and offline classes for students in India and abroad, helping learners develop rhythm, technique, discipline and a deeper appreciation of Kerala’s cultural heritage.

My teaching approach combines traditional Gurukulam-based learning with a systematic and student-friendly training method, making Chenda accessible to learners of different ages, backgrounds and skill levels.
