I done my graduation in fine arts, and I have experience in teaching from last 7 years

For graphite pencils and coloured pencils, grab a mechanical sharpener. The best graphite pencil sharpener is a manual or mechanical sharpener, these sharpeners are also the best for coloured pencils too (with the exception of woodless pencils, it's best to use a hobby knife for those).

To sharpen different graphite drawing pencils, you can use a regular pencil sharpener for most standard pencils. However, for thicker or specialized pencils like charcoal or pastel pencils, it's best to use a sharpener specifically designed for those types of pencils. These sharpeners have larger holes and can handle the softer leads of charcoal and pastel pencils without breaking them. Just make sure to sharpen gently and rotate the pencil to get a nice, even point for your drawing. read less

To sharpen graphite pencils, use a sharpener for a fine point, or a craft knife for a custom shape. For softer pencils, use a gentle touch to avoid breaking the graphite.
