Gaurav Kalwaghe

I am Gaurav Prabhakar Kalwaghe, a passionate chess player and coach with 12+ years of chess experience and around 2 years of coaching experience. I have participated in various state-level and FIDE-rated national tournaments and have achieved Divisional Champion, University Winner, and 2-time Nashik Zone Intercollegiate Winner titles.

I have a Rapid rating of 1414 and Classical rating of 1410, along with 13 trophies, 20+ medals, and 70+ certificates. I also have around 4 years of experience as a chess arbiter, giving me good knowledge of tournament rules and competitive chess.

As a coach, I teach beginner to intermediate students through online and offline classes. I focus on fundamentals, tactics, checkmating patterns, opening principles, calculation, and game analysis while adapting my teaching approach according to each student's level and learning ability.
