I saw many students who doesn't score good in school but take good rank in jee mains.
You have to practice a lot and one important thing...
Write sllyubus firstly on page then mark weak and strong topics
After then always start with weak topic and revise strong one with that. Then next day firstly revise previous day work then again one week and strong topic... repeat this process
Take test series, it is good for exam because it will bring confidence in you to attempt question paper .
