Urvi Ghelani Thacker

I am Urvi Ghelani Thacker, an ardent teacher whose passion for education has been served for more than seventeen years now. I hold a B. Ed. and a B. B. A. degree with
Cambridge Assessment International Education programme certificate and have
had the honour of working with many student communities across several
institutions which includes Phoenix International and Lilliputs School, Lokmanya
Tilak International School in Navi Mumbai, Anand Niketan International School in
Ahmedabad and S. N. Kansagra School in Rajkot.
I have taught Mathematics, Social Studies, English and Science for grades 2 to 5,
always considering diverse educational approaches while developing lesson plans.
Due to my dedication and achievements towards the provision of quality education I
was awarded The Best Educator's Award- 2022 by the Education Minister of Gujarat.
English, Hindi, and Gujarati are languages that I speak and write with a high degree
of fluency and in turn, I aim at making my classroom warm and encouraging.
Teaching for me is not a work but a very fulfilling vocation. Being a mother, I
appreciate the wants and feelings of the children, and this is useful in relating with
them and guiding them properly.
I look forward to learning from my colleagues and exchanging ideas on how
education can be reinvented. Our objective is to make change in the world!
