Hello, for any basic level acquaintance of a language, it takes 2-3 months to familiarise yourself with the language. I would suggest that you also look into different modes of learning such as video tutorials, movies, tv shows, etc., that gives you an understanding of how the language is spoken, what the structure of the language is, etc.
