Sunny Gupta

I am a Research Assistant at IIT Bombay, pursuing my PhD in Digital Health, focusing on the intersection of Vision and Languages. My research aims to build up the AI system with less supervision and strong robustness, hopefully bringing AI closer to human-level intelligence. With this goal, I have explored GenerativeAI, self-supervised learning, and scalable multi-modality learning.

With a background in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, I have developed multiple skills in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning, which I have applied to various projects. I have also worked as a Research Associate at IIM Ahmedabad, providing research assistance in the Brij Disa Centre for Data Science and AI. Additionally, I have gained valuable experience as a Teaching Assistant at IIT Guwahati, and as a System Engineer at IBM. I am passionate about advancing the field of AI and contributing to the social good.
