Great teacher, he starts from basics. Generally it is though to recognize the mistake in flute classes but he finds out the mistake easily and give instructions according to that.

"Shri Shyam Shankar Ji is an excellent teacher. I registered at Urban Pro (happen to discover it thru google search) for a Bansuri Guru and thru that Shri Shyam Shankar. I am a senior citizen and now want to enjoy playing Bansuri. I am a beginner in playing Bansuri. I found that Shri Shyam Shankar is excellent in not only in pointing mistakes but tells nuances to overcome them. I am very satisfied with my Bansuri Guru Shri Shyam Shankar Ji. Thank you and best wishes. "
