IdentityHome based tutor teaching kids belonging to CBSE/ SSC boards from Grades 5 to 12. I ensure learning is fun for the kids by stating examples, showing videos and try and make kids 'think'. Extremely approachable and easy going. I also treat the students who score good marks and enjoy learning from them as well :)
Teaching style: Textbook is the Bible. So I go word to word and make the kid read each sentence. This is the most crucial step.
Methodology: Reading followed by understanding and small tests. I avoid Homework. But punishment is given like rewriting or imposition of child is unable to explain me what I have taught. So a two way mechanism is important for me to know that the child has grasped the concept.
Results: Majority of the kids that I have taught have managed to score good marks.
What makes me a good teacher:Child like wonder as it is said, I encourage children to ask me questions. The rapport that I share with kids make it easier for them to grasp concepts easily. I'm a positive person and make sure the child also stays calm amd positive.
