I am a post-graduate in Finance (PGDM, equivalent to MBA) from the Institute of Technology and Management, Mumbai, and hold a B.Com from Mulund College of Commerce under Mumbai University. I have cleared the ICWAI Intermediate examination of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India and hold the ACIB — Associate Chartered Institute of Bankers — a prestigious UK-based professional qualification conducted at the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance. I stood first in my school in SSC with 86.14% and was formally adjudged Best Speaker in my college public speaking programme. I am fluent in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
Teaching Experience
My formal teaching career began when I was selected to conduct the ACIB programme — a UK-based banking and finance qualification — at the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance. This gave me hands-on experience in structured curriculum delivery, lesson planning, and building genuine conceptual understanding in students rather than encouraging rote memorisation. Prior to teaching, I worked as an Investment Analyst at Triumph International, where I regularly prepared complex research reports, made presentations to institutional investors, and communicated difficult financial concepts in clear, accessible language. This professional background sharpened my ability to simplify and explain ideas with precision — a skill that is at the heart of great teaching. I teach English, Spoken English, Vocabulary, Hindi, Marathi, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies to students from Grade 1 to Grade 8 across CBSE, ICSE, and Maharashtra State Board curricula.
Style of Teaching
My teaching style is warm, patient, and deeply personalised. I firmly believe that every child learns differently and at their own pace, and I never rush a student through a concept before they have genuinely understood it. I take time at the beginning of every new student relationship to observe how the child responds to questions, where their confidence drops, and what kind of explanation resonates with them. This allows me to tailor every session to that specific student rather than following a generic, one-size-fits-all approach.
I maintain a calm, encouraging, and completely judgement-free environment in every class. Students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and express confusion without hesitation — because I treat every question as a learning opportunity, never an interruption. Many students come to me carrying anxiety around certain subjects. I address this by starting from what they already know, celebrating every small win, and building their confidence alongside their knowledge steadily and naturally.
My multilingual ability in English, Hindi, and Marathi is a significant advantage in my teaching. When a student is genuinely stuck, I switch languages mid-explanation to ensure the concept lands clearly — something very few tutors can offer. This is particularly valuable for younger students and Maharashtra-based families where comfort in the mother tongue accelerates understanding.
Strengths
My greatest strength is the ability to break down complex ideas into simple, clear, memorable explanations — a skill developed over years of corporate report writing, client presentations, and professional teaching. I was formally recognised as Best Speaker in my college public speaking programme, and I bring that same clarity and articulation to every class I conduct.
I am exceptionally patient and genuinely enjoy the process of watching a student move from confusion to clarity. I never make a student feel inadequate for not understanding something. I contextualise every concept, connect it to real life, and make learning meaningful rather than mechanical. Students and parents consistently find my explanations easy to follow, engaging, and long-lasting in memory.
